@copyninja are there updated instructions we need to follow now with the new version of the app? The “+” is no longer available and the SmartApp will not load to the phone.
The “+ My Apps” is under the new Marketplace button at the bottom right corner of the home page. After hitting the Marketplace button, hit the SmartApps tab at the top right and scroll to the bottom, there you will see it…
Remember, it will not show up on your list untill you pre-load it in IDE…

Just picked up MyQ opener and attempted to add to smartthings. Added the smartapp and devices without issue. The MyQ (Connect) accepted my password and found my door opener. However, every time I click done to finish the setup, I get the following error…prefListDevices. I also noticed when selecting my garage door, there is a second check box above it, but the line is blank.
I got it working. I tried changing the name of the device from MyQ: Garage Door Opener to just Garage Door. I also changed the network ID. Looks like that screwed everything up. Can we not change these names? Also how long is the poll time set too? Seems like it’s taking forever to change from open to closed after closing the door.
I leave mine at 5 min, but have a tilt switch to trigger refresh, best to add one or push your polling rate to 1 min. Works much better with a tilt switch, under $30…

How to I change the poll time? I did not see am option for it in the smartapp or do i have to change it directly in the code?
I just checked the code, looks like polling was lined out. I just removed the “//” and it popped right up in the app.
Strange, was that the latest code?
@copyninja, was the polling commented out in last update? Mine cane up fine a few weeks ago after v2 migration.
@jimmay3 I remember seeing this in the changelog recently. SmartThings requested that the polling time be fixed at 5 minutes, so this was done in a recent version.
I think Liftmasrer (et al) blacklisted ST. The 5 min poll was to make everyone happy.
I was just looking at the Last Update Date at the top of the file, has been 7/15/2015 for the past several changes, so have to check the logs to even see what version I have…
I was on 4.07, prior to the removal of the polling option…

Seems like it, they promised an integrated solution last year and that was as far as that went. Not sure why you wouldn’t partner and play nice with the top producer (Chamberlain/LiftMaster/Sears)???
Good point. But a theory could be the extremely short poll times taxing their servers. Same issue for ST and Ecobee and others as well.
Shouldn’t need polling times with an integrated solution, status changes should be pushed when changed, just like the native Chamberlain/Lift Master/AssureLink apps. Their apps are always have the current status and correct, just as the integrated Wink app has… What does Wink have over ST, Wink has had an integrated solution for well over a year? Wink Hub cost, nearly Free a year ago…
How many of the cloud-to-cloud integrations with ST are push? All of the ones that I have poll.
Hi folks hoping somebody can help me. About three weeks ago I added the Linear garage door ST opener to my Genie garage door control. It was working great Well it looks like it blew up the circuitry. Not a problem as the Genie is 14 years old. However my garage door guy is bringing out a LiftMaster so now I have to figure out how to put that in the SmartThings . I’m looking over the different codes here and I can’t figure out what works and what is the latest. Can somebody please let me know if they got it to work and point me to what I need to do to get it working. Thanks

I had a time with this but now everything works well except for one thing I have to say to amazon echo “open the garage door” to open and close the door. I had to search and destroy the hub and start over because i added things twice. This time was a clean install and status shows properly in ST, what do you think ? can I add a sensor through ST to the door ?
