Wink relays 2 for $149

I got the proximity sensor to work… Kinda! The first time i installed the st app the screen wouldnt turn off at all, but i installed an app that dimmed the screen down depending on the time. The second time i installed it i got the proximity sensor to turn off the screen every now and then. It does however pick up every movement be either close or acros the room. At night i notice trough my camera that some times its off and some times its on. Its working just not 100%.

What app did you use Rokstarx? Its annoying having the screen on all of the time.

Hi all, I have had a lot of fun trying to integrate the Black Friday special that wink.com had for the Wink Relay ($30 each so I bought two of them) and they’ve been fairly easy to hack and customize to my desires. If all else fails, reset and you’re back to scratch. Below are my complete notes on how to make this talk to SmartThings, MQTT, IFTTT and Home Assistant.
