I have Aeotec hub and need to add a wifi extender in my home.
Is there a wifi extender that connects to this hub and is there any benefit in connecting it or am I getting confused!?
The Aeotec hub is just a client on your Wi-Fi. You’ll need to look into an extender that is compatible with your Wi-Fi router.
In general these days WiFi mesh systems are preferable to extenders. They’re easier to set up and are more flexible.
We’re using a TP Link Deco system at our church, solid performance for a reasonable price. At home I have the original eero mesh system, also a good performer but pricey. I bought it before there were many alternatives.
