Who needs to upgrade to Aeotec Smart Home Hub?

I have the Samsung Smartthings Hub version 3. Do I need to replace it with the Aeotec Smart Home Hub?
If so, are there any advantages, or is that just rebranding of the version 3?

It’s just a re-branding, not an upgrade. If you have the V3 now, keep that one. If you have the V one or the ADT /SmartThings dual logo hub, you will have to upgrade next month, so then get the Aeotec.

An Update Regarding our Hardware

We’ve been following the comments on the Community regarding SmartThings hardware and wanted to help clarify some information on this matter. Earlier this year, we highlighted plans to enlist companies that are leaders in the smart home / automation space to manufacture and distribute SmartThings hardware.
