Wemo light switch reporting issues

I have two wemo switches. They work fine for the most part but when using the app to control them they don’t always respond to a command or report is current State (on or off). I have to hit refresh in the app multiple times for it to report is current state, then it reports to my command. Has any one encountered this? Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

I don’t have any Wemo devices to check, but are they available to use with Pollster?
