Has anybody successfully set up CoRE / GitHub integration with the UK version of ST?
I did, but Iāve since moved over to WebCORE. Suggest you do the same.
I thought they were the same? Isnāt WebCoRE the new CoRE?
Not technically. I think there is still a distinction between CoRE and WebCoRE.
can you point me in the direction of a noob guide to WebCoRE?
Certainly. Best place to start is their wiki:
Why do you have 2 instances of WebCoRE? Something is definitely not right there. Suggest you delete them all and start again. You should only have 1:

Are you installing it via GitHub?
This is the 3rd time that I am doing this, and I always end up with double of everything, one in green color and one in black⦠I dont understand how this happens. I am following the directions exactly as I read themā¦
Meantime I am reading here: http://docs.smartthings.com/en/latest/tools-and-ide/github-integration.html?highlight=git
that āGitHub IDE integration is not supported outside the US.ā and this is why I think i can never find the āEnable GitHub integrationā button when I log into the UK page, and I am forced to use the US page as per below:
US version: https://graph.api.smartthings.com/
UK version: https://graph-eu01-euwest1.api.smartthings.com/
Itās been a while since I āenabledā the GitHub in SmartThings, but I always login to the UK site and Iāve got the Update From Repo button.
Sorry because Iām leading you blind, but Iād advise you login to the UK site, delete everything, then login to the US one and check that itās deleted there too.
It really should be as easy as following the step by step guide on the wiki.
I agree with you that I should be using the UK site, but I cant do step 1 here: http://docs.smartthings.com/en/latest/tools-and-ide/github-integration.html?highlight=git because the button to enable GitHub intigration is not there
so I cant even get started to follow the wiki instructions
Is that after enabling the GitHub integration via the US Site?
OMG, you are a life saver!!! I wish all these instruction pages on wiki would have mentioned this!
@anon36505037 I would like to again thank you SOOOOO much. I have been fighting this issue for 3 days now! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I had the same problem initially with devices etc not being visible, but noticed that if you click āMy Locationsā, and then click on your āhomeā location, the list of devices under āMy Devicesā is then subsequently present and correct. A bit of further reading identified this as being on the wrong āshardā apparentlyā¦
Just to confirm I have just used the instructions in the Wiki and the installation was perfectly smooth. I donāt have any pistons yet but I can validate it was all as expected. Thanks. My next phase of home automation beginsā¦
