Hi, looking for tips please. I live in a top floor flat and have an intercom connected to the door on the ground floor. I would like to get notifications when the intercom goes off as I don’t always hear it. Was thinking of using a vibration sensor (looking for recommendations on the best ones) on top of the intercom to then send a notification to my sonos players and possibly flash the lights using core.
Has anyone else done anything similar?
The most sensitive one I’ve found for this is the SmartThings multi sensor.
Did you get it to work? Unfortunately the sensor I have wouldn’t pick up the vibration from the intercom
Yes, it works on my intercom very well. 100% consistency.
