So this might have been asked and possibly answered elsewhere but I’ve searched the community and come up with nothing.
It seems most people are using sonos integration to push notifications, but I’m trying to do the opposite trying to use the state of the Sonos in a CoRE rule.
I control the living room lights via a motion sensor but maybe I’m too much of a sofa slob because if I sit watching TV, I’m not triggering the motion sensor and so the lights go out…
So first up hooked a power meter to the TV as another sensor to detect presence (not one to leave the TV on when we aren’t around) this works great except for GAF … See she is more than happy to spend evenings when I’m not there listening to music on the Sonos… So that’s fine Sonos shows what is playing in ST notifications so let’s add that as another “presence” sensor…
Only it seems to be highly intermittent in reporting… Actually it almost looks like it’s batch based updates between Sonos cloud and ST…
with a pile of updates coming through every few hours…
Anyone else noticed this or am I just missing something?
