Using z wave door sensor with arlo chime

Looking to set door sensors around so I can receive varying audio tones depending on the door. I have two toddlers, for context. Is arlo chime compatible with this type of feature?

I just asked a similar question in the Arlo Schema thread

Not at the present time. :disappointed_relieved: The Arlo chime is not exposed through the smartthings integration. You should contact Arlo and let them know that you would like to see that.

Meanwhile, if you have an Echo it is very easy to do this with that device if that’s of any interest to you. you can use any contact sensor which is part of your smartthings account to trigger an Alexa routine (not a smartthings routine) and Alexa routines have a standard set of sound effects available including several doorbell chimes. So that’s a popular choice these days. :sunglasses:

There is a how to article listing some other options in the community – created wiki, but again, the Echo Dot is probably the most popular right now as it’s very easy to set up and you have a lot of choices for the sound effects.

It is also easily done with native SmartThings if you have a Sonos system. You can set those up with text-to-speech so they speak rather than chime.
