My problem with the SwitchBot hub wasn’t quite the same. In my case, I can’t get a second SwitchBot hub to onboard at all.
You got readings from the attached temperature sensor in Smartthings?
Hopefully my issue is related and will be fixed with the next update. I bought a few Aqara temperature sensors after watching a Youtube that you did not need the Aqara Hub by using device handlers. Then realized those do not work anymore after i bought one. But with the new software on the hub you can add them without the hub and without the device handlers.
So I added one. Took quite a few tries to get it added, but it finally worked. Seemed to be good. Then I added 3 more. Same issues with adding but eventually, they added. Now I keep seeing them offline. The first one comes and goes and two of them just do not work. I even removed one an added it again. It is fine for a few hours, and reports then just goes offline.
It would probably be wise to link that Youtube video here so there is the proper context on how you added these devices. If I were to guess, you used the Mariano drivers for this. Which would mean that your issues are unrelated.

attached to an aqara hub model which can act as a “matter bridge“ and then adding that hub to your smartthings account. The hub will then bring the sensors in with it. That’s the method which is being discussed in this particular thread. ( which is why the thread title says matter.) This method is very new and still under development. The update which was just discussed a few posts up is specific to the matter bridge method.

connected directly to a smartthings hub without using an aqara hub. Most people find that this works best with a custom edge driver. That method is not being discussed in this thread, but there are other threads discussing it. that method has been available for over a year, so anything posted before August 2023 is probably referring to that method, or the older groovy DTH method which was also directly connected to a smartthings/Aeotec hub. The off-line issue is quite common with hub direct methods, which is one reason that many people are hoping that the alternative matter integration will work well.
Here’s a current thread discussing the off-line issues when using the direct connect method. It sounds like that’s the one you’re running into.

Yes, for my SwitchBot hub that did connect to SmartThings via Mattter I have both the temperature and humidity reading. They are separate device in SmartThings, though. They aren’t composite like how the Aqara sensor comes over.
This maybe a stupid question, but why does the camera (G3 or G2) not show in ST ?
I have the Hub showing (G3) but not as a camera.
The matter standard does not yet support cameras of any type. So at the time of this posting they don’t come in through the matter bridge regardless of brand. Hopefully they will in the future, but that’s probably a year off.
Right now, Matter will support lighting products (plugs, lightbulbs, switches, etc.), door locks, thermostats and HVAC controllers, blinds and shades, home security sensors (such as door and window sensors, motion sensors, etc.), and televisions and streaming video players.

Future iterations of Matter are expected to add support for security cameras, smart speakers, home appliances, robotic vacuums, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, garage door controllers, wireless access points, environmental sensors, ambient motion/presence sensors, and energy management products (such as solar panels, electric vehicle chargers, and home battery packs). Some of these device types, such as garage door controllers and wireless access points, were initially announced as part of Matter 1.0, but they seem to have been pushed back to a subsequent standard update. That said, the CSA says it is committing to bi-annual updates for the standard that will include these new device types, as well as new features and improvements.
I keep getting Error code: 39-101 when I try to integrate my G3 hub to SmartThings is anybody else having the same issue? If so, have they had any luck finding a solution?

yes, only 49.X and above support Matter Bridges. But looking at your Aqara devices, i think the motion sensor is the only one supported via Matter Bridge. Leak and air quality sensors aren’t supported by the Matter 1.1 spec.
Is this also true for SmartThings Hub - TVs with dongle? Firmware 000.047.00011
I can add the Aqara E1 hub via matter, but it doesn’t bring anything else with it to SmartThings(LED strips, curtain driver).
yes, hub firmware 49.X added support. For some reason they don’t announce the firmware updates for the Station, Dongle or embedded hubs. Have to keep checking and one day you might be surprised.
I have a few Aqara switch buttons, which is what I want to use through the matter bridge most. Are they supposed to work through the E1 bridge? If so, any idea on how I can debug it? Happy to provide logs if needed.
