I was the administrator for quite a large forum on my interests at the time in 2004 and I can confirm I had 10 different themes for people to choose from. I also feel since those days of using phpBB and vBulletin forum software - it’t like we have gone backwards rather than forwards with the features and integrations…

Visited links are no longer purple. They will fade to grey once you have visited a topic.
Padding on various items has been adjusted.

Thank you! That purple was just driving me all the way crazy. It’s still too darn light. Looks washed out on my work PC but is OK on my iPhone. I don’t wan’t/need a “Dark Mode”, I just need to be able to see what I’m reading. Light color text is just hard to read on some screens.

I started to see these weird hours and names posted without a space randomly.
Like on the picture, 9hmacjoel1991, but it is just for that topic, not for the others listed.
This is a bug with discourse, our forum provider. That’s not a weird date, it’s the last poster’s username and I don’t know why it’s showing up there.

actually, it looks like the new topic indicator dot is present on desktop, its just white so its very hard to see

Funny thought, a few hours ago only one topic showed this weird time and username combination, now all of it.
We are investigating what caused this.
Everything is so hard to see! What is up with the washed out grey theme…I just don’t get it. I am having a really hard time “not working” while at work because my favorite past time is going to make me go blind squinting and trying to figure out what the heck is on the screen.
I’m sure they will have this worked out but I think I am going to have to just visit this forum on my iPhone.

focus on the different shades of gray for a moment and see how your eyes feel 
IMO you should remove those dark gray backgrounds behind the categories and tags. also why are the tags needed?

Tags are helpful for three reasons:

they give a little more information about what the thread is discussing
-
they allow you to quickly jump from one related thread to another
-
they are used for the quick browse lists in the community – created wiki, which is often the fastest way to find something.
