Unable to connect TP-Link Kasa Devices

So I have some outlets that I want to add to my Smarthings ecosystem. KP200’s in particular.

I’ve tried adding Kasa as a partner in the ST app, as well as Tapo, but every time it says something like the Partner is Authorized but not devices found, add devices within 30 days or the integration will be deleted.

No idea what else to try. Have checked the Kasa app to make sure third party

Have also tried this …How to configure Tapo / Kasa devices to work with Samsung SmartThings | TP-Link

At a loss at this point

Do you have a SmartThings hub? If you do there is a community created driver that can be used with many Kasa devices. See the link below.

I do, thanks will see what this does..

Okay, so it actually found the outlet, but doesn’t work properly. The socket from Kasa has two switches for both outlets. This driver only gives me access to the top socket, and even then it turns the socket on, but doesn’t seem to then want to turn it off.

Can’t wrap my head around why the Kasa integration isn’t working properly.

Try his beta driver and see if it works better.

So what I had to do was remove my devices from the Kasa app, unlink Kasa from ST. Then relink Kasa to ST. Then add the devices back into the Kasa App.

A pain in the you know what…but it worked.
