And another thread. They are apparently working on a new Arlo connected service that ‘might’ bring triggering recordings to Arlo cameras.

2020 Rundown: Arlo Products and new V3 app?

I’ve been using the Arlo Connect service in the new SmartThings app for months since I noticed that I couldn’t setup recording in the new SmartThings app Automations. At that time months ago, I removed the Arlo (SmartApp) service from the old SmartThings app, and then connected the Arlo Connect service in the new SmartThings app hoping that the ability to record using Automations would be there, but it didn’t add the capability at all.
