I just ordered one of those cheap chinese smart plugs:
anyone has any experience with this kind of plug working with smartthings?
They claim it works with alexa, so there must be some kind of api to control it through local lan, web enabled would be awesome, but I expect something more tcp like tp-link.
I already have a raspberry pi running 24/7 for some other integration, so I’m guessing in the worst case I should be able to setup a simple proxy with node or something to allow my ST hub to control this thing.
I was just wondering if anyone had tried it already. If not, I’ll report when I get it, but it will probably take a few weeks for it to come all the way from china!
