I am very interested in ordering this Zigbee energy meter. It there an Edge driver for it?

Just curious is someone figured out about these cheap Tuya energy clamps if they’re working in ST app.

This model, bi-directional works fine

Others models can works with tuya personal ef00 cluster, but are not bidirectional

Thanks for the reply @Mariano_Colmenarejo
I just want to measure 3 circuits electric shower, cooker and main input. I saw some of them tuya devices got 3 ct clamps hopefully that would work for me. With ef00 cluster I had tuya presence sensor in my old house it was a bit pain to set it up with the DP but once is working looks good also gets a bit messy with child devices in ST app. I’ll see what I can get.

I haven’t tried any 3 clamps, but the non-bidirectional 1-clamp model, which uses the EF00 cluster, works, but it emit a lot of messages, every 3 or 5 seconds. This can affect and slow down your entire zigbee network with the associated problems that this can cause.

I don’t know of a way to reduce the EF00 cluster messages and the tuya personal driver doesn’t reduce them either.

In fact these double-clamp devices that I’ve tested in the Tuya app are also very talkative, every 30 seconds every clamp endpoint emit messages from the EF00 cluster.

If you can use Zwave, you care about reliability, above price and you can afford it, I would choose a 3-clamp Aeotec gen 5, they have nothing to do with configuration and the amount of messages on the zwave network.

I’m sure there are zigbee alternatives, maybe shelly, but I don’t know how well they work

ood morning everyone… I tried to load the driver but my meter is only recognized as Zigbee Things… and there is no way to associate the driver with it. Advice?

You tried Mariano’s driver? If not, please try it. If so, what is the Model and Manufacturer Code?

in the meantime thanks…yes I installed Mariano’s driver (Zigbee Power/Meter MC) but nothing…the model is Tuya Electricity Energy Monitor PJ - 1203

If you can get that manufacturer code I may be able to help you. It should look something like “_TZE204_ac0fhfiq”.

The complete Model/MFG Code should be in this format:

MFG Code : “_TZE204_81yrt3lo”
Model : TS0601

You should be able to find that in the advanced web app or Mariano’s Zigbee Thing driver.
