Hi, where can I find the modified dth you mentioned?
In this link
I appreciate this thread is rather old but wondered if there was an edge driver for these Heiman smoke detectors. They look very similar to the Salus SD600 but believe as per the title they are Tuya based?
I am trying to decide on whether to go Heiman (cheap) Salus SD600 (community but no official integration) or Frient (supposed to work natively with ST but users have some niggles)
@Mariano_Colmenarejo has an edge driver, but it depends on the fingerprint/model. It may be simple enough for him to add it if itâs not already in his driver. Iâm using his driver for these Heiman models:
SmokeSensor-N-3.0
SmokeSensor-EM
Thanks @johnconstantelo Thats good news. Are these the models you have got working
identified as model SA001E or these which are a slightly different case design and identified as model HS3SA-E. Also do they link together so if one actuates then they all activate the sounder. If not have you managed to create a scene or routine in ST that triggers them all or indeed another device like the lights flashing?
Many thanks
If itâs any help I have these zigbee detectors working in SmartThings.
- model HS3SA-E must be fingerprint SmokeSensor-N
- model HS1CG-E must be fingerprint GASSensor-EM
These two commercial models should work with the Zigbee Smoke/CO Detector Mc driver, unless the models have changed in the firmware fingerprints
Thanks @Mariano_Colmenarejo
Very much appreciated
I have 5 of these detectors working with @Mariano_Colmenarejo edge drivers and a virtual switch each so that Alexa announces their activation. 4 of them behave perfectly and remain connected but one in my utility regularly disconnects and reconnect to the network. The battery is fine and I cannot see any reason why it might keep disconnecting. when I go through the app troubleshooter it fails at the smartthings cloud connection by indicating a red tick and error code 033. this would indicate to me that the zigbee connection is OK. I have an Aurora double socket less than 1m away and a Tuya zigbee relay in the airing cupboard so I would have thought the zigbee signal was OK. Some of the other detectors are much further from the hub or zigbee devices that would act as a relay.
Any suggestions why this particular device keeps losing connection to the cloud?
Because it isnât connected to the cloud but to your hub?
Login here, select your device and see for yourself:

One of my smoke detectors looks like this:
What fingerprints, manufacturer and model is?
Many thanks. I appreciate itâs connected to hub as thatâs where drivers are but app works with SmartThings cloud which interacts with hub. Thatâs why if internet connection fails you cannot control anything through the app. I assumed that SmartThings trouble shooter in the app checks all the connections so why does it fail connecting to cloud?
According to last Samsungâs SDC24, the connection troubleshooter works with AI and will solve any connection problem, but it seems that it is still in the training and learning phase,
I donât have AI, but I have natural intelligence and I can analyze the connection problem of the device with the driver, hub if you give me the fingerprints of the device
Many thanks @Mariano_Colmenarejo Below is screenshot of device
If you need further info please let me know
Hi,
From what I see in the driver this device does not require any custom configuration and should work fine if it has a good connection with the hub.
Could you send a screenshot of the details view in the app to see what signal metrics it has?
If the metrics are good, you could try putting it in pairing mode, pressing the detector button for more than 5 seconds and adding the device in the app with the search nearby option. This will cause it to reconfigure itself.
