I have a Samsung SmartCam and a Smartthings Motion detector on my screened in back porch. The motion detector in the SmartCam is too sensitive, even on the lowest setting, and picks up bugs flying around because of the red LEDs tend to attract them. Needless to say, the camera is sensing motion constantly after dark. I have installed a Smartthings motion detector on the back porch and want to trigger the SmartCam to record when the motion detector senses motion. I can image that this would require some sort of script to do so but I’m not a developer. Has this been done before? Thanks in advance for your response.
you can set up a “Custom” monitoring rule in the Smart Home Monitor app to do what you are looking for.
