NSo my current setup is using a Foscam camera to stream to two iPhones via OWLR Foscam app, as well as having the feed present on an always on Fire tablet. The tablet runs Actiontiles via Wallpanel app, and is also my Lannouncer server for Smartthings.
I would like to integrate more cameras to my setup (outdoor, living room, dog crate) but my concerns are
- Wallpanel app is experimentally providing tablet camera feed, but causes crashing of either itself or Lannouncer. Even if I straighten that out I don’t know if being the Tinycam server will also crash something. What does everyone use for a server solution? I have a fire stick sitting in a drawer, and a RPi running retropie in the kids play room if that helps?
- not crazy about the Foscam apps, I have tried OWLR and Foscam Cloud apps and both are a pain. The Mac software is shite as well. Is there a good alternative for iOS that Tinycam feeds to? I would like to cut out the Foscam software end altogether and use only the hardware. Must have a high WAF!
