Ha that is always agonizing! Hey what is your setup for the front door monitor (camera model?)? Is it motion activated also? Just curious as I’m looking to setup something similar.
That’s a Dropcam HD, and yes it does notifications. It’s an interesting system, but it’s very closed. No hope of it working with SmartThings. It uses a cloud DVR system which has the positive sides of stupid simple setup, and no video recording for a thief to steal. But, You also have to pay for the DVR service monthly, or all it is is a livestream feed.
