I am wondering if anyone knows how to make some Hue lights brighten and then go back to a dimmed state when a smart things button is pressed?
You could do it with two automations, one to make them bright immediately, and one with a delay to make them dim - and get both automations triggered by that same button press. And if there is a set brightness and dimness you usually want them to be one or the other, make those settings scenes then you can trigger the same effect in other ways without specifiying each time
