Here is a video of how I got SmartThings to work with Tapo C460 Solar cameras. The camera video previews are much better than google integration. However, notifications don’t work on the SmartThings phone app, and occasionally work on the TV app - just for general motion, not for people, pets or vehicles. By occasionally, I mean one motion event maybe every two minutes. Any suggestions?

The motion events must come from the Tapo Cloud. Have you checked if the events for people, pets, or vehicles are also reflected in the detail view of the app or can be seen in the device history?
If those events aren´t received, a notification won’t be issued.
AFAIK, the Tapo c2c integration only supports motion. And it has always been a bit flaky. I think it has a cool off period of one minute.

Tapo and Google Home process all events correctly - motion, pets, people, vehicles. Per another post, only motion events are handled by SmartThings and on a minute cool off period. Thanks.

Per your description, Tapo shows all these events on their side, but that doesn’t equal sending them to SmartThings.
What is supported in a C2C integration such as this one depends on the Partner, since they’re the ones who own the code.
On the SmartThings side, the tests for certification are based on what the partner reports as supported. If you would like to have that functionality, we suggest you contact Tapo support.
Thanks for the feedback. The events are sent to Google for Home integration. The events are also sent to Amazon for Alex integration. Not sure what is up with SmartThings<->Tapo. I am a tech guy, but my concern is making review videos and home usage. Tapo also said “check with SmartThings.” I am not interested in figuring it out between the two companies.

I receive all notifications and review video through the Tapo app. You can use motion or battery level as triggers in SmartThings routines.
