TankUtility SmartThings Integration

Just checking to see if anyone has their Propane TankUtility Fuel Level Monitor successfully integrated with SmartThings?

By way of background:

  1. I have a Generac 7005 Propane Tank WiFi enabled Fuel Level Monitor - (note: seems to have been discontinued and replaced by the Generac 7009 4G/LTE version).
  2. An Android App called “Tank Utility” (along with it’s Companion-App called “Tank Utility Setup”) (although both are no longer available in the PlayStore; the “Tank Utility” has since been replaced by Generac Mobile Link)
  3. The original Web App interface of app.tankutility.com automatically forwards to app.generacfuel.com, which continues to function properly with all of my Account & Device Info intact & functional.
  4. @TAustin 's Edge Channel TAustin Driver Tests Subscribed
  5. @TAustin 's Edge Driver “Tank Utility V1” Installed
  6. @TAustin 's EdgeBridge Installed/Running on a Windows Desktop
  7. @TAustin 's EdgeBridge Monitor Installed/Running in SmartThings indicating “online”
  8. @TAustin 's Tank Utility Installed: but not functioning yet

The stumbling point I think is obtaining the “Personal Token” to be installed into the SmartThings/Tank Utility/Menu/Settings/Personal Token field.

I found in older posts where it used to be visible at the bottom of the TankUtility App/Reports Graph, but it’s no longer there.

So any suggestions as to how to obtain the Personal Token?

As well, can anyone confirm whether this (or another system/method) is working within SmartThings ?

You can get a token here:

https://account.smartthings.com/tokens

But…

Thanks @Andreas_Roedl but the Personal Token in this case is specifically for the TankUtility App and from their TankUtility/Generac API.

I had reached out to TankUtility/Generac and they just replied:

“Unfortunately, we no longer offer API resources for Tank Utility as it is no longer supported.”

Sounds like that’s the end of it: No more integration within SmartThings.
