Switchbot Leak sensor problems

I’ve bought the New Switchbot Water leak sensor. I already had switchbot to smartthings connected, so when Connecting the sensor to smartthings it automaticly showed up.
The Problem is, since that the sensor Just says “connected” in the smartthings app and when I click on the device There is an error message.

In the switchbot app it works Just fine.

What can I do about it?

Hi, @PalBeron

I can take a look to see if there was something wrong on our side or Switchbot’s.

Can you enable support access to your account, please?

  1. Confirm the email account registered in the forum is the same one you use for SmartThings. If not, please share it with me over DM
  2. Enable support access to your account
  1. Go to the SmartThings Web (my.smartthings.com)
  2. Log in to your Samsung Account
  3. Select Menu (⋮) and choose Settings
  4. Toggle on Account Data Access
  5. Select the time period and confirm - In this step, please select “Until turned off”, once the team finishes, we’ll let you know so you can disable it again.

Also, do you remember the approximate time when you installed the device? This is to look for the log of the event they sent to add it to ST. If so, please include your timezone.

Hi @nayelyz ,

Thank you for your Response.

I enabled the Support access. Yes it is the same Email adress.

I don’t know which time I intially connected it, but it was the 22. of Aug.

Hi @PalBeron ,

Thank you for enabling support access and confirming your email address.

Could you please try reinstalling the sensor and then send us the recent logs? We need the exact timestamps to analyze the issue further.

Looking forward to your response.

Is deleting the sensor and reload the integration enough?

@PalBeron Yeah, but please do not forget to send the logs after that, without closing the app.

Should be done since between 21:02 and 21:04 cest

Then:

  1. In the app menu, go to Contact us.
  2. Tap on Error reports.
  3. On the opened page, tap 10 times on the title/label “What is the error about?” or until the prompt to create a log appears.

Hi @PalBeron,

Thank you for sending us the logs! Our team has reviewed the information, and we have identified the issue regarding the SwitchBot Leak Sensor reporting only its healthCheck capability in the SmartThings app.
