I have a Honeywell security system. The z-wave controller for the security system has to be the primary controller. I have the ST hub as the secondary controller. The ST hub added devices at first but as I added them to the primary. I added more devices to the primary hub and they are not showing up on the ST Hub. Is there anything I can do to get the ST Hub to sync the new devices from the primary (Honeywell Controller)?

Unfortunately, no. Smartthings doesn’t really intend for their hubs to be used as secondary Z wave controllers and they don’t support some of the more advanced Z wave controller features. The smartthings hub will only be aware of the devices which are attached to the primary at the time that it is joined to that network.

SmartThings strongly discourages adding the Hub to another Z-Wave network. We cannot offer support for disconnected Z-Wave devices or the inability to add devices through the Hub as a result of including the Hub into another Z-Wave network.
