[ST EDGE] Zigbee Soil Sensor — Tuya TS0601 EF00 Edge Driver (_TZE284_0ints6wl)

I’ve published an alternative Edge driver for the Tuya-based Zigbee soil sensor that uses the private EF00 cluster. It works with the **_TZE284_0ints6wl / TS0601** variant commonly sold on the popular online store.

Capabilities

  • Soil Moisture (%)
  • Temperature (°C)
  • Illuminance (lux)
  • Battery (%)

Install

  1. Subscribe to my channel: crashtestoz SmartThings Edge Drivers
  2. Install **Zigbee Soil Sensor** from the available drivers list
  3. Put the sensor in pairing mode and search for nearby devices in the SmartThings app

Hello! These DPs appear to match those for the GIEX Zigbee 3-in-1 Soil Moisture Sensor, but the model I have has a different fingerprint: _TZE284_3urschql, not _TZE284_0ints6wl. Do you think it is possible to add that fingerprint to your driver?

TY!

Done, give it a go.

Hello @crashtest can you make it work with the _TZE284_myd45weu.

Done. Refresh your driver.

Hi.

Could you please add a new fingerprint to your Zigbee Soil Sensor Mc driver?

I have a Tuya Soil Moisture Sensor (model ZG-303Z) that is currently being detected as a standard humidity sensor. I have verified the details using your Zigbee Thing Mc driver:

  • Manufacturer Code: HOBEIAN

  • Model: ZG-303Z

  • Clusters: It uses the EF00 cluster

Thank you for your great work with these drivers!

You’ll need to paste your devices fingerprint. You can usually grab it from the logs. Pls search for the correct process.

Hi! Sorry for the confusion, iam a totally beginner and using Gemini for help. Here is the data I found using the Zigbee Thing Mc driver:

  • Manufacturer: HOBEIAN

  • Model: ZG-303Z

  • Fingerprint: { “mfr”: “HOBEIAN”, “model”: “ZG-303Z” }

If you need the full logs from the SmartThings CLI, please let me know, but I hope this specific fingerprint is enough to add it to your driver. Thanks!"
