I have tried over and over to get this to work. It won’t. Here’s an explanation.
SSO2 is a 3 way treatlife switch. It has Relay1 controlled by Power1 and Switch1 (flipped by other manual switches on circuit) and Relay2 controlled by Power2 and Button2. Power1 is the state of the light. Power2 is the relay that changes that state but does not match that state.
Your driver sends Power1 commands. This doesn’t change the light. It just flips the state doing nothing. If I make a rule to toggle Power2 on Power1#state, flipping the switch also results in a Power1 command which triggers a Power2 command and we end up in an infinite loop.
I modified your old driver to send Event On and Event Off instead of Power1. This allowed me to not change the behavior of the light for manual triggers but catch commands from your driver and trigger the appropriate actions.
Would it be possible for you to create a device type for this on your driver?

I installed the Tasmota edge driver on 4 of my H801 LED strip contollers( I migrated from the smartlife groovy driver) and I had them all working perfectly
but I have upgraded my router from an Asus rtAC66u_B1 to an Asus RT AC5300
I set up the router with the exact same SSID and password and I have gone in and set all the controllers to use the same exact static IP as they did on my old router and I set my Aotec hub to also use the same static IP as on my old router in my new router.
at first 2 of them were not working but the other 2 were but now one of the ones that was working is not working and the other 3 are working, so now i have 3 that work and one that doen’t work no matter what I do,
sometimes after powering the non working one off and back on it will show up in the ST app but It does not respond at all in there,
I had a difficult time getting to the web interface in my browser for the non working one too, but TBH none of them are easy to log into the web interface from my browser , it takes a really long time now (it didn’t before) and I have to refresh the page several times now to get it to connect.
I am able to get into the non working ones web interface too but it takes like 50 tries if not more and then it intermittenly says unresponsive.
They all were working fine before I got this new router, I have 3 that I have grouped together in an Alexa group and with the old router they all responded at the same time with Alexa but now the non working one in that group doesn’t work at all and the 2 respond very staggered, one turns on and then a few second go by before the other one responds.
So are there any other settings in my router that I need to change other than what I already did by seting all the IP’s asscoiated with the controllers and the hub to static and setting the SSID and password to the same ones as the old router?
What could be causing this to happen? why is it just the one that doesn’t work now, is it possibly because I got a new router even though I set the SSID and password the same and set all the same static IP’s?
is there something else I need to change?
I left everything pretty much as default on this bew router besides the static IP changes.
I rememebr that I did play around with some settings on my old router before to try and make these H801’s work better when they were using the smartlife groovy FW/DTH
but i forgot if it actually made any difference.
the controlelrs always would never respond at the same time when grouped no matteer what I did, I thought getting a beefier router might dolve the issue but TBH this new router is much worse than my old and one and has not improved anything at all and made lots of stuff worse not just these controllers,'the range is trash on it even thought it has 4 times the antennas and was 4 times the price.
EDIT: now the one H801 I was having troube with and could not contorl for days is working again and now another ones is not working
this is absoultely maddening can someone please help me out here?
The device are all showing up in the new routers client list as connected with decen tsignal strenght however I am not balw to control at least one of them a any given time and I am also not able to log into the one that is not working at the time through the web interface either.
one day 2,3,and 4 will work but not 1 a couple days later and 2 doesnlt work but 4.3.and 1 do tis makes no sense at all
This appears to be your router misconfiguration/issue/error.
I have the Asus RT AC5300 AIMesh with AC67 (Ethernet backhaul) running perfectly for over 6 years now.
Try disabling the Smart Connect and/or setup a dedicated 2.4GHz guest network only for smart devices. These smart devices mostly work with 2.4GHz only.
If you are unfamiliar with Asus router setup/configuration, there are Asus support forums to help you.
I have been using the ac66u_b1 for years and no problems with smarthome
i know they only work with 2.4
so there are not other setting I should change beside the smart connect and the guest network?
this router has been terrible for everything and I have had nothing but problems with it
even my HUE lights wonlt work now, they were working but then they stopped responding, the HUE stuff is connected through smartthings and now nothing works with this POS
also my fire stick keeps disconnecting fromt he network, I put my old router back and it all works again,
are you sure there is not some other setting I am missing?
I eman if it only yhr smart connect as you say then how come my HUE stuff is not working now , they are zigbee devices and they are paired to the hue bridge that is connected via ethernet cable so there is no wifi involved at all
I feel like this router just doesnlt work for people with smarthome devices at all and is a bad fit now.
EDIT: I just checked and smart connec has bene off the whole time, I think thjis router is just a POS and just sucks for smart home
elike i said even hue is not working throught smartthing after installing this pice of crap ,it was working and then it just started having problems and half my light disconnected
asus is garbage looks like I will be getting eero or som other system becaue I can’t deal with not being able to contorl my lights or being abel to stream without it buffering and dropping constantly.
I think the 5300 is just an even more unstablw POS than the 66u_b1 it relpaced
they both suck though but the 5300 is pure garbage
half the time I try and log intont he admin page frmo my browser I just a blank grey or white screen.
I just hooked it back up and for now everythnig seems to be working except the admi page went blank and now I can’t get it to show again but I don’t want to restart it now that everything is working except I can’t see the admin page
my other router was flak AF like this too ,everyhting would work but the client list would not show any wireless clients half the time and the list would jump all over the place, asus software is buggy garbage

Thanks for your effort on this driver. I have a possible feature request. Like TH switch or plug where the temperature and humidity values are shown in a card along with the switch on/off controls, is it possible to have similar functionality for a sensor ?
Just wondering. I have motion sensors to which i am planning to add temp humidity and lux sensors. I think it will be nice to see all the data on same page rather than as multiple sensors.

this outer has been a nightmmare for me
now it is not just he H801’s it is other wifi lights from Wiz and another Chinese off brand , but mainly the H801’s at least 1 out of the 4 I am using will not work at any given time for ome reason, the Ac5300 is much worse than the AC66u_b1
everyhtig you suggested was alrey set up that way and it was still a problem

I have tried with QOS without QOS with smart connect and without it an dwith one on and the other off and vice versa , it makes no difference
with merlin i am noticing more clineta are connected now but I am not able to get them to do anything half the time of al of the time
the H801’s, keep on not responding 1 out of 4 or 2 out of 4 at any given time but not consistently the same ones, one work one day or one hor and not the next and the ones that worked before stop responding
what settngs in my router can I try to change here
the devices are connected and showing decent signal strenght
mot other stuff works but I have one Wiz bulb and one other light a bunch of kasa witches that also wont work some of the time and my Yamaha receiver is connected with full signal teenght but the app will not find it

if I hook y old route back up the issues go away, I checked all the setting and they all appear to the same for the ones it has the same.
Instead of using Tasmota rule, have you tried using ST routine to mirror the 2 switches?
I’m afraid not. The ST app view is static, I’m not able to add or remove sensor dynamically.
I use stock and merlin. Both work flawlessly. I know of others using Asus 5300, no issue as well.
It’s either your router hardware issue, or setup incorrectly.

I have a wifi RGBW lamp that is controled by the Tuya app, i have no idea what make the lamp is as it has no markings
The tuya app device information for the lamp shows a virtual ID and an IP address that is not in my home network range
I have tried your driver and added the IP address of the lamp but there is no connection, does the lamp require a fw flash or am i missing something obvious ?

It requires the Tasmota firmware and must meet all requirements.
Requirement:
- Samsung SmartThings Hub v2/v3 or Aeotec Smart Home Hub
- Official Tasmota Firmware v11.0.0 or later for Tasmota devices
- Static IP address on Tasmota/HTTP device and Hub
- Private Network - must be in one of these IP address range
- 10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255
- 172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255
- 192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255

Drive stopped working, no option to add devices appears… I had two devices working, but as the option to add the third one disappeared, I deleted the drive and added it again, but the problem persists…

Tasmota edge stopped working, the option to create devices does not appear, the gateway and hub ID options do not appear… I had two devices working, but after uninstalling and reinstalling the drive they disappeared and the problem was not resolved… I have already cleared the cache, deleted and I added the drive, I turned off and on the smartthings hub and the option to add devices does not appear… Fireware 49.00009 latest version smartthings Android app…
It’s odd. It’s working fine for me. I’m guessing there is a glitch on the ST platform. You may want to try again later…
I checked in the group and another user is having the same problem. He reported that on iOS it is working normally and on Android he is having the same problem of the options for creating devices, hub ID and gateway not appearing.
It’s probably a bug on the ST android app. I’m unable to do anything. Have to wait for ST to push out new version that addresses this issue.
