ST and Alexa Echo 2

I have been trying for days to get my ST Hub 3 connected to my Echo 2. I go through the steps in Alexa app on my phone and it doesn’t discover any devices. Both Alexa and ST have two devices connected. My door lock and Ring doorbell 2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Mike.

What’s an “Echo 2”?

Anyway, the integration is done at the account level, so the specific Echo device you have shouldn’t matter.

Here are the instructions:

(Note that you have to enable the SmartThings skill first before you can discover any devices.)

It is the second Echo device that Amazon sells.

This is Amazon’s official list of echo devices:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Echo&i=amazon-devices&rh=n%3A16333372011%2Cn%3A2102313011%2Cn%3A9818047011&dc&qid=1572557237&rnid=16333373011&ref=sr_nr_n_1

But again, it doesn’t matter what device it is, the integration is at the account level. :sunglasses: so the instructions in the database article linked to above should work if you are in the US, Canada, or the U.K. it’s possible they might not work in other countries.

I appreciate the information. I have done this over and over and the Alexa isn’t discovering devices. I don’t know how to figure this out. The Alexa app has discovered my Ring Doorbell 2 and my Kwikset lock. Oh it is echo generation 2. Thank you JDROBERTS.
