So if you use the Mood Music SmartApp, you can select a specific playlist, track, or station.
It appears that this list of choices is collected by the Sonos Lab app, and it does so in kind of an annoying way - by polling the Sonos.
As far as I can tell, once every three hours my hub asks the Sonos what it is playing. It then, for some strange reason, asks again in five minutes. So it gets two samples every three hours. If you aren’t actively playing a track, playlist, or station at that exact time, it will never get added to the list used by Mood Music.
This has to be pretty confusing to anyone trying to use Mood Music - this behavior is strange and doesn’t appear to be documented. Is there any way to force the Sonos Lab app to add a station, say for example, whatever is playing RIGHT NOW?
