Sonos Beam issus

Hi,
I’ve recently acquired one of the new Sonos Beam Soundbars. While the device as such is great I’m unhappy because it is not working well with ST. Is anybody else having any issues?
Device discovery worked well but controlling it is very unreliable. No matter if I use the controls in the “Thing” or a Speaker Companion app the commands goes through only occasionally. Most times the device does not respond, however, sometimes it does and I cannot recognize a pattern.
Here are some live loggings on failed attempts to start a track. Can anybody provide help or input what’s going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve e-mailed support but they said the Sonos Beam is not on the supported device list. But I would expect Sonos to use the same API on all their devices, right?

Yes, i have the same problem. Text to speech works occasionally , Playing & Stopped status intermittently shows the correct condition. Mute and Volume do work correctly, but not pause.

This is only the case whilst the Sonos Beam is in (TV Mode)

If the Sonos Beam is in (Music Mode), All works well with no problems!

I wonder if the Sonos Soundbars also function the same way?

I’ve just purchased a Sonos Beam and getting exactly the same issue. I just started a new thread on here because I hadn’t discovered this one.

Did either of you two ever get anywhere with it?

No real solution. I’m now using IFTTT calls in my webcore pistons to start music on my Beam.
