I am retiring my Brilliant Smart Home Controls, and am looking for another “fancy glass screen” to control my smart devices (mainly lights). I just bought a SONOFF NSPanel Pro 120 to kind of see how well it integrates with SmartThings. Does anybody have NSPanel Pro 120 devices with any experience on how it can be made useful in a SmartThings-based setup?
I updated the firmware and put it into Zigbee router mode (not gateway mode). It is connected to SmartThings but it just acts as a Zigbee repeater, nothing else.
Since that thread was posted in 2024, NSPanel Pro 120 has been updated with new firmware. One of the new features is called “Web Shortcuts” and basically it seems to let you run a webpage/HTML of your choosing on the panel as full-screen (more-or-less).
So, in theory, it can be used with SharpTools and ActionTiles. I was wondering if anyone has actually attempted this, or if they have other integrations that they have worked out with the NSPanel Pro 120 with the latest firmware.
