I have 1 ZCOMBO and 2 ZSMOKE First Alert detectors. They have connected to Smartthings normally. I set up the Smart Home Monitor for smoke, and set it to send notifications and turn on all lights. But it is doing neither of those things when I test one of the smoke detectors.
Did you test it with the physical “test” button or did you waft a little actual smoke into it?
I haven’t verified, but I would not be surprised if SHM does not trigger when receiving status “smoke=test”, and is coded to react only to “smoke=smoke”.

I did only test with the test button. I can test with real smoke later today.

Test button doesn’t trigger SHM alerts. Try with canned smoke to confirm.
