Just bought Zebra shades (z wave) from Smartwings, have tried to pair to Smartthings, but could not find device error. My Aeotec hub only 4ft from device and there is no zwave device. Is anyone has experience for these shades?. Thanks for for your help.

Yes, following this but on ST , added Smartwings, Window treatment, there is option for zigbee only and there is no z wave device. Therefore I chose scan QR or scan for near device. Both ST could not find device? Note my Smartwings zebra shade was z wave plus LR

So, I guess you didn’t have other Z-wave devices on your smartThings network? I have multiple z-wave switches on mine. I sent a message to Smartwings first to see if they have a recommendation. Thanks for the response.
I’m interested in ordering the Smartwings shades with Zwave motor and have been reading up on it. I currently have the ST Aeotec hub running 34 Zooz light dimmers without problems. Out of curiosity (and wanting a peak at the UI), I opened the ST app and went through the process of adding a device. I selected smartwings, but like you, only found the Zigbee option. Can you elaborate on what you meant by “problem was on my hub which Zwave radio channel was dead”? My hub is working fine AFAIK. How did you get this to work? I plan to put in a call to Smartwings tomorrow, but am concerned if there is some broader issue.
**Edit. Just spoke to Smartwings. Was told that “Z-wave is part of Zigbee” and I should select the Zigbee option in the St app. She wasn’t a real technical person, and obviously Z-wave is not part of Zigbee. But perhaps it’s simply poor nomenclature in the app. Does anyone know if selecting the Zigbee option when adding a device is the correct way to add a Smartwings Z-wave shade?
I checked my hub, showed zwave functinal was “false”, zigbee functional “true”. So tired with Aeotec technical support… Now I had Hbitat Elevation. It works better than smarthing
