I am needing some help getting my second video stream to work. Previously I had one video stream which worked flawlessly. Ive decided to add a second camera DLINK-7010L and plugged all the information in SmartTiles. My problem is that when I open my SmartTiles web page, system only prompts me to enter credentials just for one camera and then hangs on the second. Not sure if I am doing something wrong? Even when I enter the User/Password into the URL, I am still prompted to enter it when the page loads. Is it possible to get both streams running simultaneously ? Ive attached some screen shots on how my URLās are set up (I am aware credentials are not entered in URL for stream 2 / Ive tried with and without and I am not having any luck). Any help in the right direction is appreciated.
Adding my voice to @Turb02ās request. Now Samsung is phasing out the support for direct http access to their SmartCams, could you consider adding RTSP support to SmartTiles? Or are there any blocking factors that make this technically impossible?
Iād think that would immensely help creating camera compatibility with SmartTilesā¦
Thanks!

Converting RTSP directly to live video is, as far as I am aware, not possible within a standard browser. Conversion needs to be done in a server, somewhere. SmartTiles currently runs 99% from SmartThingsās Cloud and so we leave it up to the user to arrange their own video transcoding service(s).
Itās really a shame that new cameras are dropping HTTP support. I think they are trying to force people into using custom Apps and/or address security concerns with some overkillā¦?
Does anyone know how I can figure out the proper URL to stream my Pyle camera in a tile? The Ivideon server that I run on my Mac lets me embed a camera into a web page or blog, would that be a safe thing to use that IP for the tile? They call it share. The camera is the Pyle "Pyle PIPCAM8 HD 720P
I have my Foscam working with my local IP address but is there any way to do it remotely? I have my Foscam set up with a no-ip ddns but if I enter that address as my username it doesnāt workā¦

You may need to configure Port Forwarding on your Router (some routers will do it automatically, but I prefer to have control of this).
Got it thanks. Just something dumb as the network IP changed somehow so I set it as static again and all is good!

Thatās great news ⦠I was going to suggest you try your current WAN IP address instead of the Dynamic DNS name as a diagnostic step.
The whole purpose of DynamicDNS, however, is so that you donāt have to worry about your WAN IP address changing! You just have to be certain that your Dynamic DNS is updated sufficiently frequently to keep up with any WAN IP address changes (probably donāt happen all that often ā usually only router reboots and such?).
I stuck in the URL and I get a blank screen on many devices or desktop. The still picture portion works like a champ, but not the video streaming.

Be sure to check the URL in a plain browser window.
If the stream is via Flash or RTSP, then it cannot be embedded in SmartTiles at this time. You could run some sort of transcoding server; there may be some suggestions above. I know there are a couple web-based services available, but that adds an extra monthly fee.
Have you tried entering NestCam URL into a DropCam field? I donāt know if their APIs have significantly changed after acquisition, but DropCam tile supports Flash videos on a browser thatās compatible with Flash.
