Only one. I have a note 8 & with the zagg protector its a nigtmare typing on it, but ill sacrifice with typos instead of cracking my screen. A good few times i dropped my phone & no cracked screen. I hope i didnt jinxed myself…lol.

I hope the developers are reading this and that they may be able to provide a quick fix.
No telling whether the developers are reading this, but I would guess not, as there is now a new UI team over at one of the other companies that Samsung acquired.
If you find bugs, send in an official support request. That way it will get to the developers.
If you just have suggestions you can send those in on a support request as well, although there’s no telling what will happen to them. Sometimes the best way to get attention for those is to put them in the Twitter feed, since at least marketing looks at those.
These are bugs, nit suggestions but i will send them the request. I am annoyed that i have to redo all my routines & automatons in the old app.
I was really getting into the groove to arrange things. Everything was going great until yesterday. My changes no longer stick. I try to hide devices in non-favorites, they appear to save, but then 5 minutes later they pop back out as favorites. Same for rooms order, I move the scenes on top, then 5 minutes later they are on the bottom again…Arghhh
I have the same problem.
Why redoing automations? The new app doesn’t have “routines” so there isn’t any redoing lol. Problem solved
I kinda like the new app, but
1.) Is there now a way to set the house to Armed (away) based on presence of a phone?
2.) Any chance this version follows your app setup to a different phone, or do you have to rebuild it?
Just realized the app updated and I lost a rather convenient feature. I was using the newer ST app to allow phones to be sensed for presence. They would then show up in classic and I could use them to control SHM. Now they don’t seem to communicate at all… anyone else seeing this?

I’ve only crashed twice, but it’s been stable the last couple of hours. I also have a lot of devices “disconnected”, and they range from devices using stock ST device handlers and my own custom ones, physical and virtual. I know that ST is working on that “issue” based upon other support tickets they’re helping me on, so I’m not too worried about that eventually getting resolved.
I do like it better than the previous version of the new app. It’s a shame that there’s so much wasted space in the Rooms view. If there’s no favorite device, then please get rid of that huge label that just stares at you saying “No favorite devices”. There’s a lot of wasted space everywhere!
I personally use the Classic version because I like how compact it is compared to Connect, the ease of use to manage/use over a couple hundred devices, and speed (it’s been painfully slow for me at times).
Overall better, but still needs improvement:
- For heaven’s sake, be more efficient with the limited space on our devices.
- Don’t force me to put devices into a room (and no workarounds either)
- Think about changing how the device is “presented” in a Room. Perhaps put the capability that actuates or turns on/off the device at the bottom of that small tile vs the top. When I first saw that my intent was to go into the device, but instead I turned it on. Seems like the two functions of that tile need to be swapped around.
Hi, whilst shopping for new homeware i used to refer to the compatable device lists which gave you the product number, i cant seem to find this on the updated version, am i just not looking in the right place?
The only place currently available to see partner devices is by trying to add a new device in the new app, this will show manufactures but not always specific devices
Yeah, i can see all the manufacturers but in the old version you could say select a blue ray player and it would give you a list to scroll down to find the product number, now it just says add device, therfore going forward how can shop for compatable hardware?
At the moment you cannot Jools, the new UI is developing, lets hope things progress quicker than the previous version
