Too bad the basic things that are broken canāt get fixed. Iāve been running a dumb house since the release because scenes arenāt even able to function properly
I have not seen any difference in functionality with any of my automations, so far lights/sockets fibaro led controler, even prescence still seem fine and working
I didnāt realize there was more than one controller. Anyway, this is the one which uses the community DTH for the KOF on the classic app.

Never seen the need or point of scenes Derick, i only use automations from stock Smartthings to custom apps and device handlers, for my needs scenes just never seemed useful

Scenes in the new app are the replacement for Routines. I also find them useful for my outside lights. Instead of changing multiple lights for the holidays, I just swap the scene that is activated.

Virtual temp devices show in centigrade even if youāre in F territory.
Also, the adjuster within the device which is labeled āShade levelā and always starts at 0 allows one change then hangs with a spinner.
Soā¦installed the new appā¦was a bit of a challenge but everything is working great except for the apps inability to maintain the desired order of Scenes and Devices. Done it three times now on 2 of my devices and they all return to a very unordered state. FRUSTRATING!
Is everyone else seeing the same? Any recommendations on how to make the orders stick?
I did submit a problem report but have heard nothing backā¦
Try uninstalling the app then reinstallā¦might work. Helped me with missing notifications.
If you read up a bit thatās been reported several times and acknowledged as a bug by ST.

The inability to maintain device order and wallpapers must be device and/or operating system specific. Iām using a Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android 8.0.0 and have not run into these issues.

Im beginning to think that the automations in the new app is for show & there is no programing logic behind itā¦just empty space. The automations hardly work. I just hope the developers are fixing it. Im kicking myself in the a@# for using it. Trying yo make it work has become very frustrating.
Did anyone notice that the use phone location toggle does not stay on? I turned on many times and it turns off. this cause scene to fail which is based on deviceās location.
Yes, it has been reported by many users over the past year in several threads

On Samsung phones (2 here) running Android 8.1 it stays on. The only thing that doesnāt stick is ārearangeā rooms from Home screen page.
I tested on Samsung too and found same problem. it also add a new device every time I turn the device location on.
I liked features such as things started happening or things quite down in classic app. is that possible in the new app?
Those were just motion and no motion automations. So yes, itās possible in the new app.
is that under automations? I tried but did not work. I may be missing something.
