Having a biometric camera that can recognize you would open up a host of awesome automations, like being able to announce who is in the house or running routines just for you. Being able to tell were u are or other family members in which rooms so u could give commands thru Alexa to trigger different routines like a poor man’s Jarvis.
Netatmo can do this with their indoor Welcome cam. However, you have to use IFTTT for the integration with SmartThings.

There may be a couple of other cameras that can also do it through IFTTT, I’m not sure.
Samsung itself has announced that it will no longer be making smartthings-branded hardware, so you can’t expect a new ST camera from them.
