Means, nobody tested it. Not like any other parts of the app have been tested by anybody before releasing it to public… QC/QA?
i’ll play devils advocate:
- it’s good to see them finally beta testing at least some part of the app. hopefully they listen to feedback.
- region restriction is due to the developers only being located in Korea and USA.
Could be total BS, but maybe that is the logic
I call it…
SmartThings Clothing Care [BETA]:
Why even show if I don’t have any supported devices, and I cannot get even a preview what it does?
HomeCare Wizard:
Why to list unsupported devices? What is the point?
It is just a bunch of wasted resources for a pointless management target…
you're
right, nobody tested it.
Damn I would love to do some Beta testing as a developer, however I live in the UK.
@blake.arnold will the Beta test features ever be applicable for UK customers?
Yeap. They should make a beta version of the app for this instead of georestricting it inside the public app
Well, looks like phones are not supported either. smartthings wifi hasn’t seen any updates in a while. Wasn’t it one of their goals to get all the revisions to the same level. HUM!
So what happened with labs? Did they do anything with that. Still region locked?
You may need to be more specific about what you are looking for?
If you tap on Menu… if there a listing for Labs?
There is also the Life section that contains some of the services noted above. Click on the + to add those services.
These services are useless.
I don’t have labs available.
I would like to have basics… like grouping shades, simulation of sunrise,…
Someone said sunrise simulation is available in labs…?
Maybe an endge driver would solve my problem, but I rather not install another driver, had problems before (discovery stoped working)…
