SmartThings Hub via Smart TV keep disconnecting (August 2024)

Hello,

For the past few days, my SmartThings Hub via my Samsung TV keeps disconnecting for no reason. The television, on the other hand, remains connected to SmartThings. My devices also stay connected because they are always available in Google Home. I’ve also noticed that, when the Hub is running, there are holes in the Zigbee temperature sensor graph (for some hours the value is missing), which is not the case with the Smart Life app.

I tried connecting it via Ethernet, but that didn’t solve the problem.

My TV is a CU7105. It has the latest version. I reset the TV and SmartThings Hub to see if that would solve the problem, without success.

TV firmware version: 1460 (latest)
Hub firmware version: 000.053.00020

I have 10 Matter devices connected + a Matter/Zigbee hub with 1 associated Zigbee device.

Being French, I haven’t been able to find an answer from Samsung France support, and I don’t know who or how to contact international SmartThings support.

If you have any ideas on what could be causing this problem, I’d love to hear from you

Thanks!

The only method to contact Support is through the app by tapping on Menu and selecting Contact us. :frowning:

I can’t offer any advice on your main question other than saying… report the issue to ST support and submit hub logs.

One thought… is the TV near any networking equipment? You can move anything that could cause interference further from the TV.

Indeed, my television is about 1.5m from my Internet box. However, my TV is connected via Ethernet. Can this still cause interference? Because it’s only the hub that disconnects, while the devices remain online

yeah, I think I am still half asleep. ignore my last response.

Haha, no problem
