I am planning to do the same thing. My v2 hub has been offline a lot lately. I was looking for another WiFi extender but found the 3pk Connect Home on sale for only $80 after coupon.

Well it would appear I messed up then because I just bought a V2 Hub and already had connect home I was wanting to add the video capabilities of the V2 Hub to my connect home network kind of pissed they won’t work together

I was also hoping the V2 Hub would be better than the connect home because I have had a lot of problems losing connection to the hub and when I wrote support about it they told me the connect home wasn’t as good of a hub so why would you want to upgrade to connect home then Samsung is kind of pissing me off right now and I have been a loyal Samsung customer for years

Honestly the video capability on the V2 hub isn’t very special. I’d go with Wyze, Arlo or Ring.

That would be fine too but I want my camera and all of my Z-Wave control devices in one app is that possible anywhere?

Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know how many wifi devices the Samsung Connect Home Pro (3 pack) can support?

I have three regular and two pro ln my house
and because I am lazy :slight_smile: still V2
but I am planning to migrate all to connect home.

For anyone looking in the future I was able to add three Connect Home AP’s to my existing V2 hub setup, they’re all working together, and I didn’t have to rebuild anything to get them working. I too was having ZigBee issues as well as general WiFi issues. All seem to be resolved at this point. It’s looking like that if I wanted to get rid of my V2 hub I could, but I haven’t started that way yet. The original V2 hub shows up in the IDE as one hub, and the three Connect Home devices show up as another. I have added Zwave devices since the update and they paired to the Connect Home hubs, but all my old devices are still on the V2. There is an option to change which hub is being used for each device.

It would seem that Samsung has updated the experience quite a bit.

I would be interested to know about your setup. I have both a V2 hub and a Connect Home hub. They are in different locations on the same Samsung account. However, all the devices show up in the device list on the IDE. I have another V2 hub in a third location, but those device show up separably. Not sure why. Not that it’s a real problem, but it would be good to understand the details of how the IDE web site really works.

I don’t know if it’s possible to move a device from one hub to another (even at the same location), but I very much doubt it.
