Tried to connect my new 55” Smart Samsung TV to my new Alexa. The SmartThings app will not connect my device. It sees the tv, it allows me to start to assign it to the room, but fails to connect. I tried everything I know, than I saw this blog.
So it appears apples new iOS 13.3 has upgraded it’s iOS to have additional security that SmartThings lack. So when will SmartThings rewrite their code to include this new security code that Apple has dictated for us to be safer consumers?
All I want is to have my Alexa work to control my TV.
Any idea of when this will work, or if anyone is yet working on it?
