SmartThings Connect Pro Spamming DNS

This is related to this post.. I didn’t want to necro that one.

Same symptoms, my SmartThings hub is spamming DNS requests to the tune of about 19000/day.

Most look like these:
Dec 10 12:00:29: config 0.0.0.0 is NXDOMAIN
Dec 10 12:00:29: query[PTR] 0.0.0.0.in-addr.arpa from [hub ip]
Dec 10 12:00:29: config 0.0.0.0 is NXDOMAIN
Dec 10 12:00:29: query[PTR] 0.0.0.0.in-addr.arpa from [hub ip]
Dec 10 12:00:29: config 0.0.0.0 is NXDOMAIN
Dec 10 12:00:29: query[PTR] 0.0.0.0.in-addr.arpa from [hub ip]
Dec 10 12:00:29: config 0.0.0.0 is NXDOMAIN

I don’t have any hue devices on my hub. I have mostly Zigbee and Zwave devices with some wifi-based devices like Shelly switches, nothing that I would expect to cause this. I have rebooted several times.

I did request a hub log dump.

Anyone else seen this and actually resolved it?

Just to clarify… you have a Samsung Connect which corresponds to the thread you linked to?

SmartThings Connect Pro. It’s been hanging on but I ordered an Aeotec hub.

I ‘Replaced Hub’ to move to a new Aeotec hub and the DNS spamming stopped.
