Smartthings app update (android) 1.7.64.21 date 20/03/2021

try clearing the app cache

The amount of lag and discomfort what comes with the app is incredible.

Has any of you tried to do a Zwave exclusion recently?

First you find the Hub, then click on it, after wait a half hour to load all the connected devices there, and then there is no ā€¦ on the top right, so you scroll down and up and then it will show up. After clicking the ā€¦ And select Zwave utilities, another few minutes waiting until it loads the two option, Exclusion and Heal.

Is it me, but this pretty fancy UI running on a Samsung flagship phone is slower than how a Windows 95 used to be booting on a 486???

I have not noticed any more lag, it works for me as usual, from 2 to 4 sec to open the app and update the devices. I have about 40 on the hub, only 6 zwave.
Open the hub another 2 to 3 sec and the utilities even less.
I did the repair in about 10 sec, which failed in 2 devices and the next repair went well.
Android 11 on a pixel 2

Thatā€™s not fair at allā€¦ I was a beta tester for Win95 on a 486DX266 with 4 WHOLE MB of RAM! It was and actually still is quite snappy. If you want to pan Microsoft, -points at WindowsME- ā€¦Thereā€™s your target. That said, itā€™s STILL faster than the mobile appā€¦

4 MB of RAM is a LUXURY!!!, I started with a standard RAM of 1 KB / 2 KB.

And it still failed for Bill Gates when he showcased it!

Please excuse me, my memory doesnā€™t work well, when it was? 23 years agoā€¦ And still a bit later 98 SE was a pretty good one. But that doesnā€™t change the fact, that any of those were faster to boot, then the new app to load the devices for the Hub and reach the Zwave utilities.
