Can you just show them this thread, would make it a lot easier.

I have shared this thread with the mobile devs but the support requests help us keep better track of the number of requesters and specific feedback.

Two pictures worth 100 words. I modified my in-work Samsung WiFi Soundbar Device handler. Before:

After:

Now I have room to add the preset radio channels.

Yes, I had the same problem before I finally figured it out. This is not an intuitive implementation.

As for each of us contacting support, instead of someone at ST reading this thread. What?

Yeah…thats unfortunately the only way they’ll really take feedback. Or reviews on the app. I did both and reverted back to the last app in the meantime.

People, please don’t download this person’s file. There’s probably nothing wrong with the file, however there’s no proof that the file is intact and not changed in some way. Please use the legitimate site https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/smartthings/smartthings-smartthings/. They get their files directly from the Play store, so there’s no chance of any wrong doing.
Again, nothing against vseven. It was really nice that he did this, and the instructions are awesome. I just don’t trust personal sites for things like this.

I didn’t even know that existed and since I already had it I figured I’d share. Thanks for the confidence though. lol.

Yeah, nothing personal. I just don’t trust strangers posting stuff like this that controls my whole house! APKMirror has always had any old versions of any app that I’ve needed that I’ve been using them for years. It’s really helpful in times like this when the app developers make a change that isn’t helpful and who knows when they’ll actually fix it. Hopefully it’s soon though. I just don’t know what they were thinking making it so that you have to go to yet another screen just to change levels.

Has anybody else got a problem with your Things list now? No matter what I do I cannot see my Things, and it just says there is a problem, try later. Ive never had a problem and it appeared as soon as I updated my app.

Any ideas for things to check? Perhaps it doesnt like one of my devices?

Can always test by reverting back to the last version (see above) and then see if it works and if it does upgrade again to this new version and see if it breaks it a second time.

Yes I gave that a go and discovered that a device I am currently coding doesnt work with the new version of the app. I can either roll back to make things work, or remove my new device. I’ll obviously have to give it some thought about how I develop this DH/App, since I have absolutely no idea what it doesnt like about my code so far given it is mainly just the tile layout!!!
Thanks

QUESTION: With the changes, will there be a way to include customized labels into the Slider. I have tried, but I am either doing something incorrect, or they just do not work. What I would like would be “Bass: ${currentValue}” or similar so that a single tile can display and provide slider. This provides a integrated interface that does not get weirdly split up when going to the tablet android interface.

Hi,

Finally… will the old slider be available? from a display point of view the new one might be efficient, but there are 2 extra clicks needed for using it, and are really annoying.
Could we have at least the option to use the previos one? I see that on the tiles documentation (http://docs.smartthings.com/en/latest/device-type-developers-guide/tiles-metadata.html#slider-control-tile) it is still shown the old slider (actually, I think is the “old-old” slider).
