Hi, all of a sudden my smarthing app doesn’t let me control the temperature and the mode (cooling, heating or drying) of my air con and can’t even control the water temperature of the hot water. Before I had no issue and even Samsung customer service doesn’t seem to be able to help. I already tried removing the device and reinstalling it again.

When multiple unrelated devices (like an air conditioner and a hot water system) simultaneously lose their mode and temperature control sliders, it usually points to a cloud-side profile sync failure, an authorization token corruption, or an API schema mismatch on Samsung’s backend rather than a physical hardware defect in your appliances.

If you can supply a little more detail, somebody may be able to help.
Do you have a SmartThings hub? If so, what model?
What is the exact model number of your air conditioning controller and hot water controller?
Are they Zigbee, Z-Wave, WiFi or Matter? Are they directly connected to your SmartThings hub?
If so, does your SmartThings app show the current temperature?
What Driver are your air conditioning controller and how water controller using?
