Smart 4-prong Dryer plug?

I see a lot of people talking about using smart plugs to monitor their washer/dryer, but how is this possible with the dryer? Every dryer I’ve ever had has used a 3-prong or 4-prong plug. Are there smart plugs specifically made for dryers somewhere?

Thanks!

There is a recent integration called SmartDry that you may want to look into…

What country are you in?

I’m in the US

Ok, those are heavy duty 30 amp devices. N14-30P Or N10-30R.

I’m not aware of any smart outlets for those that work with SmartThings. But you should be able to put one of the heavy duty in-line relays on it, like The ones people use for water heaters:

But as @JKP said, I think for dryers most people use a sensor, not a monitoring plug.
