Sounds similar to this issue for which I have not found the solution yet. I see color wheels working fine in other handlers though. I just have not been able to determine if there’s a bug in the platform or the handler.
I have this set-up and configured, Everything seems to be good except if I select the color wheel from the main tile the ST app crashes. This is on iOS (both iPad and iPhone), Is this a known issue with the handler?

EDIT: I did not read throughly enough. Someone else has pointed this out above already. I will see if I can figure out the issue.
I probably should link to the whole thread for context. The issue I am having is with a different handler. Just sounds similar/related.

Woops! It appears I forgot to create a thread for this, so here it is: An advanced device handler for the Fibaro RGBW Controller, with support for changing all parameters and use of channels as inputs.
Key features in v0.03:
Z-Wave parameters can be configured using the SmartThings GUI.
Device associations can be configured using the SmartThings GUI.
Support for using the channels in a mixture of IN/OUT modes (i.e. support for analog input sensors)!
No more glitches (as sending commands and receiving reports is done properly!)
