Schlage lock everything but adding codes

Hi,
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have two Schlage locks connected to my Smart things hub. One works fully - I can add and delete codes, get notifications, lock/unlock etc. The second has all the same functionality EXCEPT it is not appearing in the Smart Lock Guest Access app to add or delete lock codes. Everything else works. I can see a full log of the lock history (even showing when I add a code on the lock itself).

Anyone know how I can get this lock to also show up in the code adding portion of the Smart Lock Guest Access?

what device handler is assigned to the lock? do both locks have the same device handler or different?

At risk of sounding ignorant, but how do I determine the device handler each is using?

login to IDE at https://account.smartthings.com go to the device section, find your locks, click on the name and check to see if type is the same for both. You don’t really need to click on them, you can just check the type next to the name in the list. If they are different, you will want to change the one not loading in smart lock guest access.

Like JKP mentioned, check the device handler, it should be using “Z-Wave Lock”.

An alternative to Smart Lock is LUM which gives you the ability to schedule users, create custom actions and notifications at the individual user level for your locks and also get invalid user/tamper notifications: [RELEASE] Lock User Management (LUM)
