Yup, I understand that, however several rule configuration items are stored in state, and until the last day or so, I’ve had to go into various rules to refresh them to get them kickstarted. I have no longer seen headless/zombie rules and everything has been working pretty solid for the last week with all of my RM automations.

I have not had to do this in a while.
True. Just have to be careful what we pin on ST. They already cause enough. Some pain is user induced.
@Mike_Maxwell great idea.
Just recommending maybe some clarity/structured issues to provide a level of helpful discussion instead of everyone going on their own tangent.
I have asked @jodyalbritton to clarify when these “stability issues” will be resolved
I don’t have a timeline yet. I can say that we are making a large concerted effort to bring stability to the platform and progress is being made on that front daily. We are also trying to be as transparent as possible and communicating these efforts weekly.
As I promised in my big post last week, for the foreseeable future I will be sharing a weekly update on the progress we have made towards creating the best possible platform and products for you. In the near term, I’m going to keep this focused on the tangible progress made during the past week. Platform updates We pushed a few updates to the platform this week which were largely targeted at reliability of the platform. We have improved Rooms stability in the mobile app, made improvements to Smart Home Monitor Arm/Disarm, made more cassandra database improvements, improved the consistency of state variables, and many more meaningful fixes. In some of these cases, we’re laying the groundwork for larger improvements so you may not yet “feel them” in your everyday experience. Hub Firmware …
strong textWe’ve put together a survey to determine if the platform and mobile application changes over the past few weeks have had a positive impact on Rule Machine functionality or not. The intent is to be able to present these results to Bruce in an effort to (hopefully get him back) I am not a secrete proxy for Bruce, nor have I asked him what his requirements for returning are or would be. I can’t predict what the outcome will be, of if he would even be interested in reviewing the results, but can only assume that his interest in returning would be based to some degree on ST’s successful rectification of the platform and mobile issues that caused him to pull support in the first place. I’m sure there are many other factors other than the above that will/would be weighing in on his…
I know @bravenel doesn’t work on Rule Machine any longer but I simply love it and refuse to stop using it. Especially when nothing else has the capability to even come close to what I need. Nonetheless, I screwed up and created a rule I can not remove. I’m trying to delete “Humidity Control Girls Vent” but the Update option doesn’t do anything.
Any recommendations?
This always happens to me. 5 minutes after I post a question, I find the answer myself. Anyway, if anyone else has this problem simply click the Edit button at the top of the page and you will be able to uninstall the SmartApp from the IDE.
You know about webCore right?
Just checking, not trying to sway you or anything.
@bridaus No… How does webCore compare?
Once again, I’ve answered my own question. I just installed webCore by following the instructions on https://wiki.webcore.co/webCoRE#Installing_webCoRE and this thing is pretty amazing. I envision many wasted hours ahead of me learning and moving my RuleMachine rules over. Thanks for opening the candy store!!!
My pleasure. Just passing on the help given to me here long ago.
If you need any help, the dedicated webCoRE forum has lots of people willing to help you waste even more time
