Honestly, not sure if Iâll use it or eventually resell/trade. But I figured at this price Iâd buy first and think about it later.
Probably already covered here but make sure your transformer is at leave 16v. Most of the issues I saw were people with weak transformers.
Donât worry, I got the oversized box for no reason with all the air cushions. 
Mine also was 100% new and was surprisingly easy to install, took maybe 15 minutes. I donât like how its mounted but its a problem with the trim around my door and not the Ring as my old cheap thin âcontractorâ grade was mounted to a piece of door trim which the new one was too wide for. Still debating if I just want to throw a little caulk behind it to keep it waterproof (its on a porch with overhand so not super worried) or notch the trim and repaint so it sits flush. Small project for tomorrow either way.
Got mine yesterday was a âbrand newâ one.
Installed it right away and in less than 24 hours itâs now completely dead.

After holding down setup for 10 seconds it seems to have come back. I have a feeling it doesnât like the hot sun beating down on it.
my neighbor has the same problem - his goes offline all the time.
Router is about 10 feet from it and power is âvery goodâ.

120F seems very low for a device that will most likely be exposed to direct sunlight.

I have similar issue with Skybell too. Well not sun beating down, since itâs on covered porch, but if in 90s for a few days, it starts seeing ghosts. I ended up turning off the motion sensor for a couple weeks over the summer because it was going off almost constantly. Really annoying when itâs on ST & all you hear every 2 minutes is " Intruder Alert , Intruder Alert Front door " echoing through the house.

Same in my invoice. You should get the right thing. Maybe. Lowes is so backwards. I got a email minutes ago saying, âthanks for picking up your orderâ I do have an order at my local store but I havenât picked it up. Card was charged. The did this last week too. bLowes
