Interesting. Maybe they’ve changed. What types of issues did you have with the devices?
It’s good deal but and nice to have. But I don’t see much usage of this.
Everything, or should I say nothing worked ? App crash during setup, finally get it setup and it would say I didn’t have any devices. It wouldn’t stay connected to WiFi, app would freeze or crash when trying to connect to device. About the only thing that did work was if you pressed the button my doorbell would ring.

We receive deliveries 3-5 a week. Deliveries normally are dropped off on the lower level patio but a cpl times a month a temp driver will use the main driveway, walk across the lawn and leave them on the front porch. We’re usually downstairs or on the 3rd floor and it’s easy to miss a package and have it sit there for a few day. With this I’ll get a motion alert and can see what’s up on the phone, tab, or Echo Show.
“Computer show me the front door.” Gotta love that.
Co-worker had a package damaged dropped off by UPS. Checked the video and the driver chucked the package 20+ feet from the middle of his driveway onto his porch. He put in a claim with UPS, they denied it, he showed them the video, they promptly paid the claim. For him it paid for itself that one time.
Also depending on where you live there are people that steal packages.
SlickDeals.net - its a “deal” watching site that lets you put in custom alerts for stuff so when someone finds it on sale you’ll get a text or email. Like I have a alert for “GE Z-Wave” so I know when switches go on sale and another on “Arlo Pro” as I’m debating getting a set of those.

The Echo Show can be a little slow to pull up the Arlo cams hoping the Ring will be as good or better.
Ring Pro is awesome! Setup some rules with webCoRE and you have a motion detector, video Doorbell and a hard wired live cam for your door. This deal is sick. I paid $200 for mines.
Mine arrived. Open box. A returned item. Spent 25 minutes with CS. They’re overnighting one and knocked off another 10%.
Now that most sale items ship from retail stores (Mine came from Richmond Va.) I’m seeing a lot of open items and zero packing. I’ve ordered several times this month and 75% have had an issue. On top of that they are being shipped by UPS. Evey box arrives crushed. When they used FedEx boxes were crisp.
Really didn’t need the hassle; but to save $150 off retail, I’ll deal with it.

So does Lowes send all opened and returned Ring Pro’s to Florida for ‘liquidation’?
Mine was missing a few parts, i.e., the connectors for the ring power adapter. When I finally got it set up, there was only 17 days left in the free 30 day trial, so it was a fairly recent return.
Lowes. Love the NC accent.
I’ve complained for a cpl years about receiving used goods. I was told by the local store manager that they don’t have enough staff to check all the returns so most go right back on the shelf.
Hmm, Maybe stop putting used crap on he shelves and the number of returns may drop.

Had that with 1 of the Sylvania strips last week. Daughter’s BF picked them up, knew I had told him there were 3 boxes, but only 2 in the bag. He brought this to their attention. They came out with another box. I open the bag and 1 was open return. The adapter was already attached to the strip, it was all just laying loose in the box. The bag of saddles & screws were there though. I immediately plugged it in and made sure it connected to my hub. For $17, I’m not going to complain as long as they worked.
My order shipped wave will be here tomorrow. Coming from Wyoming to Denver.
My order now shows shipped from local area store in Michigan. Still says $249 here but Crestview, FL store shows 1 in stock for $149.
